Aquatic Plants and Critters in Central park May 2021

I’ve been asked if duckweed or other aquatic plants and snails can be found in ponds of Central park NYC now (in May).

Looking on my catch at home I noticed eggs of bladder snails, seed shrimp, leafy pond weed and filamentous algae.
There could be some more critters…
